Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! I hope you all are having a splendid holiday with friends and family. This Christmas was a very nice one, everyone happy and healthy and not stressful.
Coat: Forever21
Skirt: Forever21
Fur: Vintage
Tights: Target
Shoes: Target
I received money, a sander, ironing board and a few gift cards. It's nice to have my own sander now, since I have some DIY projects I hope to start in the spring, which I will definitely share with you all!
I'd also like to take time to mention, when I was celebrating Thanksgiving with my family at the nursing home where my great grandfather lives, I saw the woman who gave me my typewriter in the nursing home hallway, where she resides also. I didn't say hello, because I wasn't sure if she'd recognize me. She also looked quite depressed and distraught. Little did I know, the day I was there, was the day her husband had passed away. I cannot imagine how it must feel to lose a spouse. Especially during the holidays. I know that death isn't the end, they are always still with you. I hope to visit her sometime in the near future, so she can have some company.
In loving memory of her husband.
I'm excited for the new year, it's always nice to have a fresh start.
New memories and new lessons.
I hope the new year is a good one for all of you, too.
Again, thank you for all of the kind words and support from all of my readers,
I really appreciate it.
Ivy

  4. Dear Evie, I found your blog via your comment on Bright Young Twins. I liked your header and your photo so I browsed a bit through it. You're looking awesome with your red hair and curls and I love the coat combined with this white vintage fur. It's a very 30s/40s style. It's very extraordinary but also terrific that a young girl like you wants a sander for Christmas. Compliment!
